These Terms of Service govern your use of Shadecrest ("the App"), developed by AHEM Studios. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on a personal device for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes, subject to these Terms.

The App allows you to set a display name visible on public leaderboards. You are responsible for your display name and agree not to use names that are offensive, obscene, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, or that impersonate another person or entity.
We reserve the right to remove or reset any display name that violates these guidelines, without prior notice.

The App provides optional online features including global leaderboards, cloud backup, run telemetry, and bug reporting. These services require a network connection and rely on third-party infrastructure (Supabase, Sentry).
We do not guarantee that online services will be available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any online feature at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including maintenance, security, or cost considerations. We are not liable for any loss of data, scores, or progress resulting from service changes or interruptions.
All content in the App — including but not limited to artwork, text, card designs, game mechanics, character designs, music, sound effects, and code — is owned by AHEM Studios or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
"Shadecrest," "AHEM Studios," and associated logos and trade dress are trademarks of AHEM Studios. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect information. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App or its online services at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends and you should uninstall it from your devices.
Sections 4, 6, 7, and 9 survive any termination of these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which AHEM Studios operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Effective date" at the top of this document. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
